Ramsey Marcello is a financial advisor and CEO based in New Orleans with a decade of experience as a financial professional under his belt. Alongside a career in the financial industry, Ramsey is also a talented legal professional who built the foundation of his professional career in law.
In 2004, Ramsey Marcello graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, with his Bachelor of Science degree and a double major in Economics/History and Human and Organizational Development. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, Ramsey enrolled at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans; he graduated from Tulane with his Juris Doctor in Common Law and Maritime Law in 2009.
While a student at Vanderbilt, Ramsey Marcello worked as a Defense Investigator with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, helping lawyers build cases, obtaining witness statements, interviewing police officers, and photographing crime scenes. As a law student, Ramsey worked with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, L.L.P. as an Antitrust Legal assistant, conducting legal research, assisting with all aspects of trial preparation, and coordinating the preparation of briefs. He also worked with Chaffe McCall, L.L.P., as a Summer Associate in 2007 and 2008.
After graduating from law school, Ramsey Marcello joined Phelps Dunbar, L.L.P. as an Associate in Tort Litigation before joining Appleseed – also based in NOLA – working as a volunteer attorney. From there, he moved into the position of Associate in Complex Litigation with Neblett, Beard & Arsenault based out of Alexandria, Virginia.
In 2013, Ramsey parlayed his knowledge and experience as a legal professional into the world of finance, stepping into a financial advisor role with Northwestern Mutual, and he’s been working in finance ever since. Presently, Ramsey Marcello is the CEO of Southern Coast Wealth Advisors, which he founded in 2018 and has been operating ever since.
As a professional, Ramsey has built his career by developing the necessary knowledge and experience that it takes to thrive in the world of finance. Throughout the years, he has developed expertise in areas that include client services, rapport, relations, experience, and education, alongside risk management, risk assessment, and risk analysis.
